Why we are different – NIM immigration lawyers

We are a group of lawyers based in Barcelona with extensive experience working for the relocation of foreign people throughout Spain. After years working in the sector, we saw the need to move away from the big firms and create on our own a platform where we could give more faithful and close advice.

Large firms handle an unimaginable amount of clients, lawyers have an overload of work that they cannot take on and this leads to delays in the processing of files, as well as in dealing with the client.
After detecting this need, we decided to launch NIM Lawyers.

We are the new digital generation of lawyers, we provide online advice in which you can talk and contact your lawyer in a simple and agile way. We will be aware of your file at all times and the whole process will be done electronically without you having to go to any office in person.

Irene is the CEO of NIM Immigration Lawyers and as a lawyer she has a wide specialization and experience advising foreign people. Originally from Barcelona, during her professional career she has always been interested in international and immigration law.

She has worked in 3 law firms in the Catalan capital, always advising clients from all over the world, until her ambition led her to start this project together with her partner and co-founder of the firm.

Passionate about getting to know other countries and cultures, she has lived many experiences after traveling for months around the world. She is aware of how important it is to feel at home in a new place. That’s why she has spent years helping foreigners who want to start a new life in Spain.”

Marilo Pardo

Marilo Pardo Serrano

TAX ADVISOR

Marilo ia a law gaduate from the University of Barcelona, with a Master’s in Tax Advisory and Management from ESADE and a PDD from IESE Business School. With over 20 years of experience, she has worked at C&L, PwC, and Allianz before founding ML&O Tax Advisors.

A specialist in tax law, she advises businesses and individuals across sectors such as industrial, retail, finance, technology, and healthcare. Her expertise includes restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and international taxation.

She combines her practice with teaching, serving as a lecturer in the ICAB Master’s in Tax Law and as an associate professor at the University of Barcelona’s Faculty of Economics.

Before joining NIM Extranjería, Giulio worked as a freelancer on various projects, specializing in SEO strategies for a wide range of clients and industries. During this period, he gained valuable experience in improving web traffic and online visibility for businesses across different fields.

His approach is based on detailed data analysis, technical optimization, and the implementation of cutting-edge SEO practices to enhance organic visibility and attract potential clients interested in immigration and tax advisory services in Spain. With his experience and dedication, Giulio remains a cornerstone for the digital success of NIM Extranjería.

Merce Rubiralta Ribalta

EMPLOYMENT ATTORNEY

Merce is a Certified Social Graduate, registered with the Official Association of Social Graduates of Barcelona since 2016. She has extensive experience advising companies and employees in matters related to Labor Law and Social Security, with a strong background in representing businesses before the Social Courts.

Throughout her professional journey, Merce has also delivered specialized training to corporate HR departments and labor lawyers, helping enhance their understanding and application of labor law principles in dynamic workplace environments.

She advocates for a more approachable, up-to-date, and flexible legal advisory model, aligned with the needs of today’s remote work landscape. Currently living in the Philippines, Merce continues her work as a digital nomad, providing legal support to clients across borders while maintaining her hallmark of quality service and close, personalized guidance.
